Three hours of work for three pieces of wood. :-)
Tonight I worked on building the fixture (box shaped) that will hold the panel mount shifter/throttle. As this will mount on the upper starboard side panel at the helm, the first piece of wood was cut to fit between the forward cabin bulkhead and the back of the helm seat. It was then scribed to fit and cut to width.
The face piece was cut next, a basic rectangle.
And the lower piece was cut to length, but only from the forward cabin bulkhead to the front edge of the helm seat, then scribed to fit the wall and cut to width.
The pattern for the cutouts for the throttle/shifter was laid out on the face piece and all the holes were cut and drilled.
More painting was done, just white on existing pieces.
No pictures, had to go back to work tonight for a cut telephone cable.
