As promised, tonight was dedicated to sanding. Bleagh.
I managed to get the port side completely done; from the bow to the stern along the hull, from the stern to the bow along the sides, from the bow to the stern lightly sanding the tops of the shelves and then the top of the forward deck.
I was able to get the starboard side on the hull done as well before I ran out of time.
The 8" sway? Well, if I place the sander against the hull and slightly lean into it and then shift my weight side to side, the sander moves about 8". It's much easier than trying to do it strictly with my arms. :-)
